Absorbed Quantity Field, LIFO Band Table
Contains the quantity of items that are applied to the previous year’s outstanding increment quantity during the year-end inventory valuation process. If the ending inventory is greater than the starting inventory, an entry is created in the LIFO Band table with a positive increment quantity. If the ending inventory is less than the starting inventory, an entry is created with a negative increment quantity. The difference between the starting and ending quantities is automatically applied to the previous year’s outstanding increment quantity until the residual quantity equals zero.
