Type Field, Item Table

Specifies if the item card represents a physical item (Inventory) or a service (Service).

When you choose the No. field on the lines in simplified sales and purchase document, you can select between inventory items and services in the same list. For more information, see How to: Invoice a Sale or How to: Record Purchases (Simplified).

Note

Item cards of type Service cannot be used in supply chain processes, such as production orders and warehouse activities.
