SIC Member Field, Bank Directory Table

This field shows whether the bank / institution is an SIC participant or not.

The options are:

  • No = not a participant

  • Yes = participant

  • Indirect = indirect participant

For indirect participants, the SNB does not accept customer payment transactions (A and C transactions).

These transactions are immediately returned to the SIC bank issuing the order.
