View Role centers (Enterprise Portal)

If your organization is using Role Centers, your Role Center is displayed when you open Enterprise Portal for Microsoft Dynamics AX. Users are assigned to Role Centers based on their user profiles. A user profile is a set of default information for a specific role in the organization. You can be assigned to only one user profile per company. Therefore, you can be assigned to only one Role Center per company. If you have access to multiple companies, the Role Center displays information about the company that is currently selected. To view your Role Center for another company, click the company in the Company list at the upper right of the Enterprise Portal page.

Note

If your organization is using Role Centers, but you have not yet been assigned to a specific user profile, a default Role Center may be displayed when you open Enterprise Portal. You can personalize this page. For more information, see Modify Role center pages (Enterprise Portal).

If you navigate away from your Role Center, you can view it at any time by clicking Home on the top link bar. To refresh data in your Role Center, click Home on the top link bar.
