Set up card payment methods for stores

You must set up cards as a payment method if you want a store to accept debit cards, credit cards, and other card payments for purchases.

Note

Before you can set up cards as a payment method for a store, you must create an organization-wide payment method for cards. For more information about how to set up organization-wide payment methods, see Set up payment methods for an organization.

Use the following procedure to set up specific credit cards, debit cards, and other card payments for a store.

  1. Click Retail > Common > Retail channels > Retail stores.

  2. On the Retail stores list page, select the store to set up cards for.

  3. In the Stores form, on the Action Pane, on the Set up tab, in the Set up group, click Payment methods.

  4. In the Payment method form, click New.

  5. On the General FastTab, in the Function field, select the payment method for the type of card tender.

  6. On the menu at the top of the form, click Card setup.

  7. In the Card setup form, click New to create a new card. Enter the card name, and then select other appropriate setup options for the card type.
