(MEX) Generate the sales tax report

You can generate sales tax reports to prepare, verify, and reconcile VAT tax declarations.

  1. Click General ledger > Reports > Mexican tax reports > Sales tax.

  2. In the From date field, select or enter the starting date of the reporting period.

  3. In the To date field, select or enter the ending date of the reporting period.

  4. In the From category tax report field, select the starting tax report category.

  5. In the To category tax report field, select the ending tax report category.

  6. In the Type of report field, select the type of report to be generated:

    • Both – Prints both realized and unrealized VAT sales transactions.

    • Realized – Prints all sales transactions with realized VAT that are posted in the sales tax payable account.

    • Unrealized – Prints all sales transactions with unrealized VAT that are posted in the unrealized tax payable account.

  7. Click OK to generate the sales tax report.
