Exceptions

Exception type Condition
InvalidOperationException

RelativeReference is set when the Token property is not equal to null.

Remarks

When you set the RelativeReference property and then call the GetXml or GetInnerXml method, a <Reference> element is added to the <SecurityTokenReference> element. The URI attribute of the <Reference> element is set to the value of the RelativeReference property prefixed with a number sign (#).

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
