ContactName Property

Gets or sets the contact name of the current Customer object.

Property Value

Type: System..::.String
The contact name of the Customer.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
StringLengthValidationException

An attempt was made to set ContactName to a string that was longer than 255 characters.

Remarks

Stores the name of the Customer object. ContactName may contain up to 255 characters. When setting the property, leading and trailing whitespace is removed. Setting the value to nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or string.empty indicates that there should be no customer contact.
