How to View Site Terms

You can view information about a site term that includes the valid values for the site term, by using Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager.

To view site terms

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.

  2. In Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click Site Terms.

    A table that contains the site terms appears in the Site Terms pane. Each row of the table represents a site term. The following table describes the meaning of each column in the Site Terms pane:

    Column

    Meaning

    Name

    The name that is stored in the database that represents this site term.

    Display Name

    The text that the user will see for this site term.

    Description

    A description of what this site term means.

To view the valid values for a site term

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.

  2. In Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click Site Terms.

  3. In the Site Terms pane, select the site term that you want to view.

    A table that contains the valid values for the site term appears in the Preview Details pane. Each row of the table represents a valid value for the site term. The following table describes the meaning of each column in the Preview Details pane:

    Column

    Meaning

    Name

    The data that is stored in the database if the user selects this value for the site term.

    Display Name

    The text that the user will see for this value of the site term.

    Description

    A description of what this value for the site term means.
