How to Modify a Shipping Method

You use Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager to modify shipping methods. After you make the modifications, you must refresh the site cache so that the modifications to the shipping method will appear on the Web site.
To modify a shipping method
I Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.
In Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click Shipping Methods.
In the Shipping Methods pane, select the shipping method that you want to modify.
In the Tasks pane, click Open Shipping Method.
In the Shipping Method screen, on the Properties tab, do the following:

Enabled
Select Yes to activate the shipping method or No to deactivate the shipping method from the drop-down list.
Enabled indicates that the shipping method will display on the site as a shipping option.
Configured mode
From the drop-down list, select a mode by which to configure the shipping charges.
Shipping cost calculator
Type the ProgID of the pipeline component.
See your site developer for the ProgID of the pipeline component.
Created date
View the system-assigned date when you created the shipping method.
You cannot edit this box.
Last modified
View the system-assigned date when you last modified the shipping method.
You cannot edit this box.
Group ID
View the GUID assigned by the system to group same shipping methods in different languages.
You cannot edit this box.
Add
Click to define the shipping method in another language.
Delete
Click to delete the selected language from this shipping method definition.
Default language
Select this check box to specify this language as the default language.
Language
Type the name of the language to use for this shipping method.
Name
Type the friendly name of the shipping method in this language.
Description
Type a description of this shipping method in the language selected.
On the Charges Table tab, do the following.

Limit (up to)
Type the maximum limit to which this shipping rate applies.
Shipping Rate
Type the shipping rate.
Add
Click to apply a Limit and ShippingRate to the selected shipping method.
Delete
Click to delete the selected Limit and Shipping Rate.
Click Save and Close on the toolbar to save the modified shipping method.
To refresh the site cache
In Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click Shipping Methods.
In the Tasks pane, click Refresh Site Cache.
