How to Create a New Inventory Catalog
This topic describes how to create an inventory catalog.
To create an inventory catalog
Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and then click Catalog Manager.
In Catalog Manager, in the Views pane, click Inventory Catalogs.
In the Task pane, click Create New Inventory Catalog.
On the Welcome to the New Inventory Catalog Wizard page, click Next.
On the Inventory Catalog Properties page, do the following:

Catalog Name
Type a name for the catalog.
Description
Type a description for the catalog.
Click Next.
On the second Inventory Catalog Properties page, do the following:

Property Name
Type an optional custom property name.
Display Name
Type an optional custom display name.
Value
Type an optional value.
Click Next.
On the Associate product catalogs page, do the following:

Product Catalogs
Select the product catalog(s) to associate with this inventory catalog from the list.
Add catalogs
Click to open the Product Catalogs dialog box.
Remove
Click to remove the selected catalog.
Remove All
Click to remove all the selected catalogs.
If you click Add catalogs, the Product Catalogs dialog box opens. Select the catalogs you want to add to this inventory catalog. You can Select All or Deselect All. When you select the catalogs you want to include in this inventory catalog, click OK.
On the Associate product catalogs page, click Next.
On the Inventory Catalog Summary page, review the inventory catalog properties. To make any changes, click Back. To accept these properties and create the catalog, click Create.
On the Completing the New Inventory Catalog Wizard page, click Finish.
