Importing Catalogs
Commerce Server 2009 installs a sample catalog schema in the Catalog System.
You might want to import a catalog, for example, from a trading partner that contains properties and definitions that are not in the sample catalog schema.
Note
You can only import XML-formatted catalog files.
When you import XML-formatted catalog files, Commerce Server 2009 creates new properties and definitions in the Catalog System. You use the Import Product Catalog Wizard to import your catalogs.
