MSCS_CatalogScratch Database Tables

The Catalog System stores temporary tables in the MSCS_CatalogScratch database tables. The Catalog System creates these tables when they are required for various operations. When the information is no longer needed, the data in the tables are deleted. The empty tables remain in the database and may be reused.
The CatalogCleanup.vbs script is a tool that you can use to delete the temporary tables from the MSCS_CatalogScratch database. For more information, see How to Delete Temporary Tables from the MSCS_CatalogScratch Database.
