Daily Purchases (Power BI Report)

APPLIES TO: Generally available in Business Central 2024 release wave 2 (version 25.1).

The Daily Purchases report provides a comprehensive overview of your purchase activities on specific days. By highlighting days with a higher volume of purchases, you can identify trends and patterns in your purchasing behavior. You can also use this report to analyze purchase data across different years, quarters, or months, and get valuable insights into purchasing trends over time.

Use the report

This report helps purchasing managers and purchasing teams to optimize purchasing schedules and track daily purchase activities.

Purchasing managers can analyze data to allocate budgets and staff, ensuring that your team can handle the purchasing volume. Use this report to identify the busiest days of the week and make sure that your team is adequately staffed on those days. For example, the report might show that Wednesdays are your busiest days. You can allocate more staff and budget to ensure that your team can handle the workload.

Purchasers track daily purchases and ensure they stay within budget. Use this report to monitor daily purchase activities and identify purchases or days that might exceed the budget.
