Automate and speed up onboarding of new customers to Business Central.
Feature details
As part of the onboarding of new customers, many partners install several AppSource apps for the customer. The apps can be installed directly from the AppSource marketplace and from the Extension Management page in Business Central. This release wave adds the option to install AppSource apps programmatically, using the Business Central admin center API. Admins can also use the API to uninstall apps that are no longer needed. We expect to implement the API in the admin center itself in a later release wave.
Tip
The Business Central admin center API already has methods for checking for updates to AppSource apps and for installing these updates to the customer's environment.
