Remarks

The DiscoveryClientBindingElement class calls the GetDiscoveryEndpoint method on the DiscoveryEndpointProvider instance passed by the user to get the DiscoveryEndpoint for discovering the services. DiscoveryClientBindingElement also calls GetDiscoveryEndpoint method whenever it must clone itself.
