Remarks

This class defines the Service Provider Interface (<b>SPI</b>) for the Signature class, which is used to provide the functionality of a digital signature algorithm. Digital signatures are used for authentication and integrity assurance of digital data. .

All the abstract methods in this class must be implemented by each cryptographic service provider who wishes to supply the implementation of a particular signature algorithm.

Constructors

SignatureSpi()
SignatureSpi(IntPtr, JniHandleOwnership)

A constructor used when creating managed representations of JNI objects; called by the runtime.

Returns the runtime class of this Object.

(Inherited from Object)
Handle

The handle to the underlying Android instance.

(Inherited from Object)

Methods

Clone()

Returns a clone if the implementation is cloneable.

Dispose() (Inherited from Object)
Dispose(Boolean) (Inherited from Object)
EngineGetParameter(String)
Obsolete.

Gets the value of the specified algorithm parameter.

EngineGetParameters()

This method is overridden by providers to return the parameters used with this signature engine, or null if this signature engine does not use any parameters.

EngineInitSign(IPrivateKey, SecureRandom)

Initializes this signature object with the specified private key and source of randomness for signing operations.

EngineInitSign(IPrivateKey)

Initializes this signature object with the specified private key for signing operations.

EngineInitVerify(IPublicKey)

Initializes this signature object with the specified public key for verification operations.

EngineSetParameter(IAlgorithmParameterSpec)

This method is overridden by providers to initialize this signature engine with the specified parameter set.

EngineSetParameter(String, Object)
Obsolete.

Sets the specified algorithm parameter to the specified value.

EngineSign()

Returns the signature bytes of all the data updated so far.

EngineSign(Byte[], Int32, Int32)

Finishes this signature operation and stores the resulting signature bytes in the provided buffer outbuf, starting at offset.

EngineUpdate(Byte[], Int32, Int32)

Updates the data to be signed or verified, using the specified array of bytes, starting at the specified offset.

EngineUpdate(ByteBuffer)

Updates the data to be signed or verified using the specified ByteBuffer.

EngineUpdate(SByte)

Updates the data to be signed or verified using the specified byte.

EngineVerify(Byte[], Int32, Int32)

Verifies the passed-in signature in the specified array of bytes, starting at the specified offset.

EngineVerify(Byte[])

Verifies the passed-in signature.

Equals(Object)

Indicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one.

(Inherited from Object)
GetHashCode()

Returns a hash code value for the object.

(Inherited from Object)
JavaFinalize()

Called by the garbage collector on an object when garbage collection determines that there are no more references to the object.

(Inherited from Object)
Notify()

Wakes up a single thread that is waiting on this object's monitor.

(Inherited from Object)
NotifyAll()

Wakes up all threads that are waiting on this object's monitor.

(Inherited from Object)
SetHandle(IntPtr, JniHandleOwnership)

Sets the Handle property.

(Inherited from Object)
ToArray<T>() (Inherited from Object)
ToString()

Returns a string representation of the object.

(Inherited from Object)
UnregisterFromRuntime() (Inherited from Object)
Wait()

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait(Int64, Int32)

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait(Int64)

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.
