Embedding Microsoft Virtual Academy Learning Resources into your MOOC
With the advent of blended learning students may want to or need to complete a particular Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA) training session as part of their course
Many institutions now implement Blended learning where student learn at least in part through delivery of content and instruction via digital and online media with some element of student control over time, place, path, or pace. At Microsoft we undertake a lot of Blended learning for our own personal development so getting student used to these activities is also a useful life lesson in continued professional development. In the past users had to log directly into Microsoft Virtual Academy https://mva.microsoft.com and our dedicated student learning resources at https://mva.microsoft.com/imagine to undertake any of our FREE professional training courses. But I am pleased to announce that you can embed MVA videos and courses on your own site, blog, or other online destination such as your Moodle or Blackboard VLE.
From coding for Developers (cloud, games, apps, and web) to configuration and deployment details for IT Pros (enterprise security, mobility, and more), you can share MVA content with your Students.
If you’re a teacher at school, college or University, you can post coding courses for your students and learning resources for your fellow instructors.
When you embed a video, you’ll see navigation tabs for the player, the course description, and sharing.
The great news is that it’s easy. To embed a video, use the Share feature to copy the HTML markup.
Here's what looks like!
Embedding Course or Modules
You have the flexibility to embed a single video (like the example above) or a full course.
Full Course Embedding
To embed the full course, remove the portion of the embed code that refers to the specific video. In the example above that would be: /Video-Installing-and-Using-the-Template-10-Project-Templates-Part-1-R3bBb1LRC_4305918554
iframe src="https://mva.microsoft.com/en-US/training-courses-embed/getting-started-with-template-10-16336/Video-Installing-and-Using-the-Template-10-Project-Templates-Part-1-R3bBb1LRC_4305918554" width="636" height="480" allowFullScreen frameBorder="0"></iframe
Which courses and videos will you share? Let us know! Have questions or feedback? Talk to us in the MVA forums.

I am an accounting professor and would like to consider how I could embed GP training into my course. The videos are great. But, my need would be to have a series of practice sets through which students would try booking transactions, generating reports, etc.Who can I talk to?- Anonymous

Hi WillI am not sure what you mean by GP? You can implement various practical modules and assessments using the following FREE resources http://github.com/MicrosoftLearning and http://github.com/MSFTImagine/ComputerScience or implement a blended learning approach taking content and modules from Microsoft Virtual Academy http://mva.microsoft.com or tutorials from http://msdn.microsoft.com You can also embedded professional certification in your course using Imagine Academy https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/education/imagine-academy/default.aspx
