SharePoint Server 2013 Test Lab Guide stack refreshed
The SharePoint Server 2013 Test Lab Guide (TLG) stack has been refreshed for the released version of SharePoint Server 2013. Here is the current stack diagram (click on it for a larger version):
The updates include the following:
- Additional links to software and hardware requirements for Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012, and SharePoint Server 2013 so you can make better estimates of disk space and RAM for physical or virtual machine-based computers in the test lab.
- Links to the released evaluation versions of SharePoint Server 2013 and Office Professional Plus 2013.
- A new section that provides an overview of the TLG initiative, with the new TLG logo and a diagram showing the TLG stack on which the TLG in question depends.
- New lab configuration diagrams. Here is an example:

Hi Gokan, I used PowerPoint for the lab diagram, but you can also use Visio. See blogs.technet.com/.../new-icon-set-for-the-latest-sharepoint-2013-tlgs-are-now-available.aspx for a PPT and a link to the Visio stencil containing the new icons. I also used PowerPoint for the stack diagram. See blogs.technet.com/.../new-recommendations-for-tlg-stack-diagrams.aspx for a PPT to get you started. JoeAnonymous

Based on blogs.technet.com/.../uag-2010-service-pack-3-is-in-the-works.aspx, you need to wait for UAG SP3 for support SharePoint 2013 publishing.Anonymous

Thanks Joe for the update, much appreciated. I have a question on the use of Forefront UAG to publish Sharepoint 2013, I understand that currently this scenario is not supported and that SP3 for UAG is on the way and that caters for Sharepoint 2013 publishing, is that still the case or can one now publish Sharepoint 2013 using UAG SP2 ?Anonymous
