Which SharePoint technology is right for you?
Lots of dots, maybe even Morse code. However the page on Microsoft Office Online gives a great overview of the various features that are available for the different levels of SharePoint Technologies sets.
From the site you should be able to find the right combination of what you need to solve a particular business problem and make a well informed decision to choose between:
- Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (with SP1 of course!)
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
- with Standard Client Access License (standard CAL)
- with Enterprise Client Access License (eCAL)
A small subset of the goodness on the page linked in this post (Hint, for the full details, try the link)
