Partners Announce Support for New Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Solutions
This week, Microsoft unveiled a wave of new enterprise products and services to help companies seize the opportunities of cloud computing and several Microsoft partners announced their support.
- Equinix announced a strategic relationship with Microsoft that enables cloud connectivity to Windows Azure in key markets globally through Equinix International Business Exchange data centers.
- Gridstore announced support for new Windows Server 2012 R2 and Hyper-V features. Gridstore’s software-defined storage solution complements the storage functionality in Windows Server with Hyper-V through Gridstore’s patented Server-side Virtual Controller Technology to help maximize application performance in a Microsoft Hyper-V environment.
- Emulex announced that its I/O connectivity solutions support Windows Server 2012 R2 to further customers’ transition to software-defined networking.
- NEC announced that integrated network and compute orchestration will soon be generally available for all Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V customers using, System Center Virtual Machine Manager , and NEC ProgrammableFlow Networking Suite.
