February Release of Silverlight for Windows Phone Toolkit

Yesterday the toolkit team pushed out an update to the Windows Phone Toolkit. You can get the February update here.

One of the things I am excited about is that the Performance Progress Bar is now part of the toolkit. No need to do all the copying and pasting from Jeff’s blog. You can simply add a reference to the toolkit assembly, and then add the control to your page, just like you would any other toolkit control.

In addition, the Tilt effect, which also started out on a blog and later became a sample, is now also included in the toolkit.

There have also been some performance updates to the list controls and the toolkit includes all the controls it has shipped with in the past such as the AutoCompleteBox, ContextMenu, WrapPanel, etc.

Enjoy!

Nice, now let's hope for a badly needed updated version of the toolkit for Silverlight 4.
