Microsoft BizTalk Server - NetWeaver XI Interoperability and other Updates on microsoft-sap.com/interop.aspx

Yes, it toolk a while and we promised to have it on the web earlier. But I think it was worth waiting for it. We have published the BizTalk Server - NetWeaver XI interoperability overview animation. This is a summary of all papers we have released around the EAI interop and double hub infrastructure.

Other updates include the WSS connector for WebDav whitepaper and the WebCast for it.

We are in the final review for a whitepaper on search between Sharepoint Server (MOSS 2007) and SAP NetWeaver Portal (KMC). There we crawl unstructured data in SAP using a WebService from Sharepoint with its new Business Data Catalogue and Search interface. The technology will not be mainstream since this requires custom code on the SAP side today to encapsulate the Java API for Search but still this is helpful in many cases and customers have asked for it already.

Next plans:
- More detailed descriptions for Portal interoperability between the Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) and SAP NetWeaver Portal
- System Center Operations Manager usage for SAP NetWeaver applications
