Mashed 08: Landed safely

We completed our flight  - stirred on music of great endeavour (The Great Escape, Dam Busters, Top Gun (!)).

I buzzed LA at Mach 25, dipped the undercarriage in San Francisco bay as passed by the Golden Gate Bridge, and found the Grand Canyon (several times).

Top fun. I am now producing a Virtual Earth 3D Tour from the KML file made of all the entire flight round the world. Unfortunately bandwidth is a bit challenged this morning so this is taking some time. The VE stuff is pretty cool. I produced a GEORSS file of the point data. This could then be uploaded as a collection in my  Live ID. Then it was just an Action to cause the 3d tour to be built!
