The Microsoft OMS agent now supports Windows Server 2008 SP1 and 32-bit systems
We have now added support for Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 1 operating systems as well as 32- bit systems. To get this added support, simply download the updated agent MSI and install it on your servers. The MSI can be found by going to the OMS portal ‘Settings’ tile, then clicking the ‘Connected Sources’ tab.
We have a lot of customers using Operations Management Suite (OMS) to collect events from their point of sale devices and we have received numerous requests to support 32-bit systems as a lot of POS devices are 32-bit. We are therefore excited to announce our 32-bit systems support.
