Virtual PC 2007 beta now open

The Virtual PC 2007 Beta is now available to download, with Windows Vista support! - sign up for it here

Some of the major changes include:

  • Support for hardware virtualisation (both Intel & AMD)
  • Support for Windows Vista as a host operating system
  • Support for Windows Vista as a guest operating system
  • Improved performance

There are bug fixes as well, some of the interesting ones are:

  • Lots of work to allow Virtual PC to play better with laptop power management
  • Fix for IntelPPM issue
  • Virtual PC now supports greater than 2.2GB ISO images
