Windows Server 2003 x64/ Windows XP Professional x64
We’ve just announced the beta customer preview program for Windows Server 2003 x64 and Windows XP Professional x64. This supports the new hybrid 32/64-bit architecture that AMD released a while ago (Opteron), and Intel just released (Intel Xeon with Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology, or EM64T). It allows both 32-bit and 64-bit apps to run on the one platform. Server version will be available in Standard and Enterprise Editions. To register for Windows Server 2003, go to https://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/64bit/x64/trial/default.mspx, OR for Windows XP, go to https://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/evaluation/upgrade.mspx.
