Microsoft Codename “Data Explorer” Announced
I’m happy to announce that the project I’ve been working on is finally public! Technically the actual bits are not public yet, but the fact that we exist is no longer a secret! Here’s my elevator pitch: This product allows you to easily pull in lots of data from random sources, clean it up, transform it, merge it together, and then publish it out for consumption. It’s built to be super simple, and what you’re building is a script, not just a one time transformation. So every day you can come in, hit refresh, and it pulls the data from all your sources, runs all those transformations, cleaning steps, and merges, and spits out the results.
If you want to know more, I highly recommend checking out our official web page where you can see our teaser trailer and sign up for an invitation to the beta.
Below is a (low quality) video of one of our fearless leaders giving the presentation at PASS.
