Nagraj Kashyap, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Ventures, which focuses on partnering with visionary entrepreneurs, looking to drive the digital transformation. The future of computing is being forged today by those companies and startups that work at the very edge of what is possible with technology.
In his keynote, Nagraj will inspire the audience with his broad experience and vision about the future of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Microsoft is heavily investing in artificial intelligence with the creation of a new AI and Research Group in late 2016. This newly formed group brings together Microsoft's research organization and more than 5000 computer scientists and engineers focused on AI and is now the fourth major division in the company. Over 20 years of machine learning expertise have recently lead to ML being infused in many of our technologies and to the publication of Azure Machine Learning Studio, a tool for developers and data scientists to harness the power of machine learning in their own solutions.
Nagraj has over 20 years of experience in mobile and software with an emphasis on venture capital, and has been recognized as a leader in corporate venturing through the GCV Powerlist awards in 2013, 2014 and 2016. He earned his MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his MS in computer science from the University of Texas, Austin.
