IOD: Standard Searchable FAQ Repository

Again, more of an idea that people I work with have been throwing around... but imagine if every different sort of question asking and answering service had the ability to tag a question with it's answer... somewhat like our chat transcripts.  These Q/A pairs from newsgroups, chats, forums, webcasts, wikis, etc could all be stored and searchable in one location.  I know some people will say "that's what google is for", but I find that all too often I'll find a matching question without a matching answer. There is no way, currently, to search for only things that have an answer.  With this idea each product or technology would have it's own categorized merged FAQ solution. Hell, you should be able to subscribe to new answers in the categories you are interested in.  I'm probably just dreaming though.

What exactly does the IOD stand for in your subject headers?

Oh, and very nice idea. I'm gonna be thinking about an implementation for the next few days now... ;-)
