Microsoft Azure Open for Business in Australia!

Today has been a very exciting day for us at Microsoft Australia! Today at TechEd Sydney we announced the general availability of the Australian GEO which includes the Australia East Region in NSW and the Australia Southeast Region in Victoria.

I’m writing this post from the TechEd Sydney show floor as day one wraps up and I can tell the buzz about today’s announcements have been fantastic. I feel so much relief with this announcement and I dare say a lot of you do as well. This brings us to 19 Azure geographies around the world with the opening of our region here in Australia. More than any other cloud provider!
