Welcome to Go With The Flow blog, where we focus on all aspects of Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) in .NET Framework, including technologies, news and various events. Through this blog, we hope we can have more communication and interaction with all of you .NET developers and help you have a better understanding of WF. The idea of creating this blog has been there for a while. Now it has been one and half months since Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Beta2 released, which for us is a perfect time to make this blog on line. Therefore, we are very exciting to launch it with this first post!

We are from Microsoft AppServer Developer eXperience team (ADX) which is one of the key product teams belong to Microsoft (China) Server and Tools Business which allocates in Shanghai. The goal for our team is to help developers implement distributed, service-oriented enterprise application in a simple and efficient way. Currently, we are focusing on two categories of products:

  1. WCF tools
  2. WF activities and designers

We have made significant contribution to WCF 4.0 and WF 4.0 in the release of Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.

This blog is all about WF. We will introduce to you the various features and functionalities of WF and demonstrate how to use them. Moreover, we will also share some experience we have gained during the development of WF itself, hoping this could help you have deeper understanding of WF. Last but not least, we sincerely would like to use this blog to reach out all of you, listen to your scenarios, requirements, feedbacks and suggestions. If there is any question or problem with WF, we hope you could find an answer here. We would also like to get your request on the contents of this blog, we will try our best to help.

In the following months, we are going to publish all kinds of WF related articles. They will not only include tutorials but also deep dive of some advanced features, as well as forecast and report of related news and events. Stay tuned! At last, we would like to end this entry with some resources we collected. Let’s begin our journey of WF!
