March Security Updates for XP Embedded SP3 and Standard 2009 Are Now on ECE

The March 2011 Security Updates are now available on the ECE site for Windows® Embedded Standard 2009 and/or Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded with Service Pack 3.

The March Security Updates include:

  • 2508062   Vulnerability in Remote Desktop Client Could Allow Remote Code Execution. This KB solution is comprised of the following KB update packages: KB2481109, 2483614 and KB2483618.
  • 2510030    Vulnerabilities in Windows Media Could Allow Remote Code Execution. This KB solution is comprised of the following KB update packages: KB2479943.

This update can be applied directly to runtime images.
