OK, so there may be some bias since the research was done on behalf of the winning computer manufacturer, but the analysis with regard to benefits is accurate. The ‘green revolution’ is spreading globally, heck even I’ve been sucked into it at home trying to make my personal consumption of raw materials to have less of an impact on the environment, and I’m the last one you’d ever consider a tree hugger.
Here’s some food for thought:

‘Green’ is a bandwagon that may be worthy of jumping onto and promoting as a reason to move to something less than full Windows. Today we simply list low power as a side benefit amongst a list of bullets.
The era of always needing to move your PC on to the nextest biggest fastest with more CPU power than your neighbor is starting to wind down now that the fanless, low power 1+GHz processors are finally ‘good enough’ for most home users like most of my family and some business users.
You might even pitch Windows Embedded Business Unit as the provider of the Green OS’ from Microsoft - “Reduce your carbon footprint, switch to XPe or CE”.
