Community Launch events.

Four of our local Microsoft Technology User Groups have organised technical preview launch events in Dublin, Belfast, Cork and Galway.

Whereas our official launch will be a showcase experience aimed at getting our high-level launch messages to as many people as possible – these 6 hour community events will allow folks get more detailed technical demonstrations of the new products.

Feature highlights will include:

- LINQ and all the new productivity features in Visual Studio 2008

- Windows Server 2008 Virtualisation, Server Core, NAP and IIS 7.0

- New SQL Server 2008 features to help build and manage BI Solutions and new SQL Server data types
