Real world mechs?
Any MechAssault fan should appreciate this 12' “robot” coming out of Japan. How much longer until Jump Jets, Warhammer missiles and heat sinks are added?
A Japanese company unveiled a 3.5-metre (11.55-foot) tall robot that can forage its way through a heap of debris as a trailblazer for rescue workers following a disaster such as an earthquake.(AFP/Toshifumi Kitamura)

The Japanese have a good handle on the robotics market. They even have an annual robot carnival to show off the latest creations and what to look for in the future. You all should look into it. I had a blast at the one in 1999. - Anonymous
