New Microsoft Project Server Blog: The Admin Blog
As announced by Brian Smith: Project 2007 and 2010: A New Blog on the Block – but familiar authors and by Heather O’Cull: Calling all Admins – There’s a New Blog for You; we have launched a new blog targeted at Project Server Admins with the intent to:
Helping you manage your Microsoft Project Server Instance
Brian wrote: “Treb Gatte will be the primary blogger, but some of the kind of postings that have come from me and Christophe will in the future be posted via the Project Admin site. I’ll be keeping my usual blog going, as will Christophe and Treb. But the aim is that all things admin will come out via the new blog. Most of the postings in the near future will likely relate to Project 2010 and Project Server 2010, but I’m sure as the need arises we will also be posting Project 2007 stuff.”
Important announcements for this week alone were:
- Windows Server 2008 R2 is Now Supported
- 2010 Public Beta to 2010 Final Release Is Not Supported
- Did you know? (Public Beta expiration date)
So please add it to your favorite RSS feeds so you do not miss a heartbeat of what you need to know as PMO/EPM admins!
