Seek Fame in the Australia Information Industry
If Andy Warhol had worked in ICT, he may have had a different take on 15 minutes of fame. That’s because the iAwards – the Australian Information Industry Association’s annual ICT industry awards - are proven passports to fame and fortune that stand the test of time.
On 28 May 2008, around 1000 delegates from the ICT industry will assemble for the first time in Melbourne, to honour the brightest people, new products, ideas and entities our industry has to offer. While iAwards take only minutes to present, they can generate a lifetime of benefits that include funding, promotion, sales, government support and massive international exposure. iAwards are awarded across several different categories, including government, education, media, healthcare and tourism. Special awards are also given for students, start ups, exporters, community value and individual contribution.
So if you seek fame in ICT, you should enter and attend your state presentations. If you win at the state level, you will be winging your way to Melbourne for the national presentations!
