What is Coleco ADAM?

I got feedback from Brian Senecal that mentioned ADAM also relates to Coleco ADAM, which is a computer / game system from the early 80's.  Pretty funny because I never considered that when I posted this.  Time for the conspriacy theories to start...

Coleco ADAM seems to still have a cult following and there are a couple on Ebay right now for close to $10.  You can also download Coleco emulators and play some of the games.

    I used to sell those 'beasts' around 1983.

    Mad machines. I remember the printer embedded in the computer which was at this time a hammer typewriter. Lot of laughs because the Colecao was setup on a kind of metallic stand, and everytime I had to demo something on the printer, the whole stuff was moving few feets. Maybe the first walking robot :-)) The games were pretty good for the time, but the design was really poor. I am not sure if I sold only one !
