Ending Support to Create or Edit Standard Text Ads
We recently announced that Bing Ads will end support for creating new and editing existing standard text ads (STAs) by July 31st, 2017. This platform change also applies to managing text ads via the Bulk API (Text Ad) and Campaign Management API (TextAd). Attempts to add new STAs or update STAs will return the CampaignServiceAdTypeInvalid error.
Your STAs will continue to serve after this date but, with the exception of the Status field, you will not be able to make any other changes to them.

As recommended in the announcement, you should replace your existing STAs with Expanded Text Ads (EXTAs) before July 31st. After your new EXTAs are created, you will still be able to retrieve and delete the STAs.
