Stop a record search

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 8 Beta

  1. On the Action menu, click Stop Loading Records.

    A message box will ask, "Are you sure you want to stop downloading the records from the database?"

  2. Click Yes.

Notes

  • This procedure assumes that both the WINS console and the Display Records dialog box are open.

  • A record search must be currently operating in order for this procedure to work.
