Plug and Play

Plug and Play (PnP) functionality allows the driver for a PnP device to be installed immediately after the device is plugged into a computer, and displays balloon pop-ups, and an installation wizard when necessary. Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) allows UPnP devices to be connected to a computer over a network.

You can enable silent PnP in your run-time image. You can also prevent PnP and UPnP functioning in your run-time image.
