RIL_StartDTMF (Compact 2013)

3/26/2014

This function sends a continuous DTMF tone on the voice channel of an active call. To stop the tone call RIL_StopDTMF.

Syntax

HRESULT RIL_StartDTMF(
    HRIL hRil,
    CHAR ch
);

Parameters

  • [in] hRil
    A handle to a RIL instance.
  • [in] ch
    A single alphanumeric char representing the DTMF tone to be sent. Any character in this set is valid: "0123456789 ABCD*#".

Return Value

Positive HRESULT values indicate success and are used as command identifications for matching the asynchronous call result. Negative HRESULT values indicate an error. Errors are defined in the Ril.h file.

An asynchronous result of RIL_RESULT_OK indicates success. The lpData notification parameter is set to NULL.

Remarks
