The ICMP API Test exercises several ICMP application programming interfaces and methods supported by Windows Embedded CE.

- One-Card Network Card Miniport Driver Test
The One-Card Network Card Miniport Driver Test assesses the functionality of a miniport driver for a single network card. You can also use this test to verify that the driver supports Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) functionality.
- Two-Card Network Card Miniport Driver Test
The Two-Card Network Card Miniport Driver Test assesses the functionality of a miniport driver on a target device with two network cards.
- Winsock 2.0 Test (v4/v6)
The Winsock 2.0 Test (v4/v6) verifies that Winsock 2.0 and the transport stacks for IPv4 and IPv6 are present on the target device. The test also assesses the functionality of an Ethernet network driver by performing a simple data transfer.
