IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent2 (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

This interface retrieves additional information related to session state change events. It extends the IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent interface.

Methods

The following tables show the methods for this interface in vtable order. This is the order in which the compiler calls the methods. This interface inherits the methods for the IUnknown and IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent interfaces.

The following table shows the IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent methods.

Method Description

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent::Session

Gets the Session object that changed state.

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent::State

Gets the state of the session.

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent::StatusCode

Gets the result code associated with the state change.

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent::StatusText

Gets the status text associated with the status code.

The following table shows the IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent2 methods.

Method Description

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent2::MediaTypes

Gets the media types that are available on the incoming call.

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent2::RemotePreferredSecurityLevel

Gets the security level for the audio, video, or T120 media stream encryption. Windows Embedded CE does not support video or T120 media streams.

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent2::IsForked

Determines if the session has been sent to multiple devices.

IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent2::GetRemoteSessionDescription

Retrieves the session description from the remote client.

Obtaining a Pointer

When the application's implementation of the IRTCEventNotification::Event method indicates an RTC_EVENT enumeration value of RTCE_SESSION_STATE_CHANGE, the method's pEvent parameter is an IDispatch pointer for the IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent interface.

To retrieve this interface, the application should call IUnknown::QueryInterface on IRTCSessionChangeEvent interface, passing the appropriate IID (4F933171-6F95-4880-80D9-2EC8D495D261).
