IIMCallback2 (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

An input method (IM) is given a pointer to this interface by the software-based input panel through the IInputMethod interface. The IM calls the methods in IIMCallback2to send keystrokes to the current application and to change the icon that displays on the Input Panel button.
Methods
The following table lists the methods for IIMCallback2.

Called by the IM to change the bitmaps shown on the Input Panel button representing the current software-based input panel, to change the visible state of the software-based input panel, or to notify the software-based input panel when the IM has changed the size, placement, or docked status of the software-based input panel window. |

Called by the IM to simulate a keystroke or a virtual key. The key event is sent to the window that currently has the focus; that is, the window that would have received keyboard input if a key had been pressed on an external keyboard. |

Sends Unicode characters from the IM to the window with the focus, while also determining which WM_KEYDOWN and WM_KEYUP messages the window should receive. |

Called by the IM to send an entire string to the window that currently has the focus; that is, the window that would have received keyboard input if a key had been pressed on an external keyboard. |
