The function deletes a Short Message Service (SMS) message from a particular storage location.

Syntax

HRESULT SimDeleteMessage (
  HSIM hSim,
  DWORD dwStorage,
  DWORD dwIndex
);

Parameters

  • hSim
    Points to a valid HSIM handle.
  • dwIndex
    Index number of the entry to retrieve.

Return Value

HRESULT is S_OK for success, or one of the SIM_E error constants defined in the SIM Manager Error Constants table.

Remarks

SIM_NOTIFY_MSG_DELETED is received when this function executes successfully. The callback function registered with SimInitialize is called with SIM_NOTIFY_MSG_DELETED.
