In Windows Embedded Compact, you can add Domain Discovery to your OS so it can discover and query an Active Directory server.

Hardware and Software Requirements
- Requires Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Client (SYSGEN_LDAP). For more information, see LDAP Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires a connection to a network domain.
