FSDMGR_ReadDiskEx (Compact 2013)

This function is called by a file system driver (FSD) to read sectors from a disk into discontinuous buffers.

Syntax

DWORD FSDMGR_ReadDiskEx( 
  PFSGI pfsgi, 
  PFSGR pfsgr
);

Parameters

Return Value

ERROR_SUCCESS indicates success. A standard Windows API error code indicates failure.

Remarks

The pfbi member of the FSD_SCATTER_GATHER_INFO structure points to the FSD_BUFFER_INFO structure or structures that contain the information read from the mounted volumes. The cSectorsTransferred member of the FSD_SCATTER_GATHER_RESULTS structure contains the total number of sectors transferred. If the driver or system does not support scatter or gather, the output is converted automatically to normal I/O.
