FSD Data Types (Compact 2013)

The following table shows the file system driver (FSD) data types with a description of each.

Data Type	Description
PEMPTYLOCKCONTAINER	Pointer to a function that frees all blocked threads waiting to install a lock on a specified file.
PACQUIREFILELOCKSTATE	Pointer to a function implemented by an FSD. Used by Lock Manager to get the file lock state associated with the specified file when a lock is being modified.
PRELEASEFILELOCKSTATE	Returns the lock state of the specified file before exiting the critical section of the file.
